Rim Rock on both sides. On February 10, 2026, Just Rain BCB gave us a bull calf by PCC Dark Knight, and we named her SC Midnight Rain. Dark Knight has measured over 90 inches tip to tip. He was bred by Pace Cattle Co and is owned by Cold Copper Ranch. He's by JH Rural Safari Son, who goes back to JH Rurally Screwed and Night Safari BL833, and his dam, PCC Dazzle Doll, is a PCC Rim Rock daughter out of WF Dumpling. Just Rain is one of the most striking females we own, with horn direction that makes people stop and look. She's by Justify, a 90½ inch son of PCC Rim Rock out of Horseshoe J Justifiable, a Concealed Weapon daughter. Her dam, RFR Deluge's Girl, is by RRR Jagged Edge 616, which brings WS Jamakizm into the picture. Here's what makes this calf interesting to us. PCC Rim Rock, the 88½ inch JP Rio Grande son bred by Pace Cattle Company, shows up twice, once through Dazzle Doll on top and again through Justify underneath. Put that together with a sire and a maternal grandsire who have both measured over 90 inches, and there's a lot of horn packed into one calf. She's too young for the tape to tell us much yet, so for now we're going on pedigree, and it's a good one. Midnight Rain is a herd sire prospect we're going to keep a close eye on as he grows.
