Description:
101+ inches and still growing.
Heels and Pearls measured 101⅞ inches tip to tip on October 22, 2026, eleven days after her eighth birthday. She's the pride of this herd, and that tape measure is a big part of the reason.
She has climbed steady her whole life. She was 33½ inches at a little over a year old, 58½ just shy of two, and 77½ at three. She crossed 90 inches in January 2023 and topped 100 for the first time in December 2025 and will add another couple of inches in 2026.
Before she was a 100 inch cow she was a show heifer. She won Senior Champion and Grand Champion at the 2020 STLA Llano show, took first in her class at the 2020 Cherry Blossom Futurity, and won Class 10 at the 2021 ITTLA Heifer Futurity, with a few second place finishes besides.
Her sire, Pearl Snap BCB, was the Futurity Money Earners Bull of the Year in 2021 and Producer of the Year in 2022, with lifetime earnings of $32,135.29. He's a Bandera Chex son out of Wulfco's Shadow Dancer, and Bandera Chex goes back to Peacemaker 44 and Poco Lady BL.
Her dam, High Heels 220, is a 92 inch cow carrying two doses of Top Caliber. Top Caliber measured 88¼ inches and sired some of the longest horned cattle in the breed, Big Wig, Barbie Doll, M Arrow Cha Ching, Suni and Pacific Yellow Bell among them. High Heels is out of Black Suede Boots, a Saddle Tramp 601 daughter.
She's putting it to work for us. SC Jangolin Pearls, born November 2023, is by HL Jango, a son of Tuff Cowboy DC and grandson of Cowboy Tuff Chex. SC Knights Pearl came along this February by PCC Dark Knight, a bull that has measured over 90 inches himself.
When somebody asks what we're building at Stone Creek, this is the cow we walk them out to see. A black and white cow past 101 inches, with a pedigree like hers, doesn't come along very often. We're proud she's ours.
