SC LUNAR ECLIPSE — A new arrival with generations of greatness behind him. Born August 28, 2026, SC Lunar Eclipse brings together a cross we’re excited to watch develop at Stone Creek Ranch: PCC Dark Knight over BL Twisting Tuff. His sire, PCC Dark Knight, brings over 90 inches of documented tip-to-tip horn and a pedigree featuring JH Rural Safari Son, Night Safari BL833, PCC Dazzle Doll and PCC Rim Rock. It’s a strong foundation to build on—and his maternal side makes this pairing especially interesting. His dam, BL Twisting Tuff, was bred by Bob and Pam Loomis and is an own daughter of Cowboy Tuff Chex out of RRR Miss Rita J 608. With a recorded 89¼ inches tip to tip herself, she brings her own horn performance to the cross. Through her, Lunar Eclipse carries Cowboy Chex, BL Rio Catchit and WS Jamakizm close in his pedigree, along with the established Rita and Ruby cow family. Lunar Eclipse is just beginning his story, but the breeding behind him gives us plenty to be excited about. He represents the kind of pairing we strive for: accomplished sires backed by females with performance of their own. One we’re proud to be raising - and looking forward to watching grow.
