Glendenning breeding with Buck Winn on top. GF Dawna Winn was raised by Rex and Sherese Glendenning and born November 2, 2021. Her sire is GF Buck Winn and her dam is Pacific Shawna, and there's a lot of horn on both sides of that cross. Buck Winn has measured 92⅜ inches tip to tip. He's a son of Drag Iron out of RRR Miss Red Rose 105. Drag Iron won the 2014 Horn Showcase World Champion title, finished at 90 inches tip to tip and 2,260 pounds, and was named Champion ITLA Get of Sire in 2021. One of his sons, Silent Iron, went on to 110 inches. When Drag Iron passed in 2022, Buck Winn was named the new standing herd sire at Glendenning Farms. Pacific Shawna is an AF Gun Slinger daughter. Gun Slinger has measured 92 inches and won both the Tip to Tip and Total Horn championships at the 2015 Longhorn World Championship. Shawna's dam is Pacific Beaut, a Santee Chex daughter. Dawna is right on track. She measured 83¼ inches tip to tip on October 22 of this year, up from 80⅜ in March. She's given us two bull calves we're proud of: SC Winning Bucks by TJ Bux and SC Knight Shade by PCC Dark Knight. With a 92 inch bull on each side of her pedigree, Dawna is a big piece of what we're putting together here.
