Ritzy American Honey was bred by Hoosier Longhorns and born April 28, 2020. She's an own daughter of Delta Lucky Ace out of T Bar W Ritzy Lady, and she's turned into one of the most important cows on the place for us. Delta Lucky Ace stands at Cold Copper Ranch and was the 2021 HSC Ultimate Bull. Back in 2015 he won his class at a string of futurities, the Horn Showcase and ITLA Futurity among them. He picked up the Junior Get of Sire award at the 2020 Horn Showcase and has measured 87 13/16 inches tip to tip. His sire is LLL Lucky and his dam is LLL Delta Dawn. On her dam's side, T Bar W Ritzy Lady is by SDR Spartacus, a JP Rio Grande son, and out of T Bar W Ritzy Ruby. Ruby goes back to JP Grand Ritz and EOT Flashy Ruby. Honey placed sixth in her class at the 2021 Fred Bryant Futurity, and she measured 82⅝ inches tip to tip in March 2026. Where she really earns her keep is in her calves. She's the dam of SC Tiger Lilly N8ive Queen by N8ive Legendz, and of SC Knight's Heart and SC Sweet Tennessee Knight, both by PCC Dark Knight. That's three daughters on our place out of one cow, and we're glad to have every one of them. If you want to see what we mean by building a herd on genetics, start with Honey.
